Aberdeen local lockdown to remain in place

Commenting on the Scottish Government announcement that the Aberdeen local lockdown is to remain in place for at least another seven days, North East Liberal Democrat MSP Mike Rumbles said:
"It is very worrying that the outbreak in Aberdeen is not yet under control and many people will be deeply concerned about what the the future holds for the city.

"The Scottish Government has a responsibility to make sure we are not left behind while the rest of Scotland begins the process of economic recovery. One way ministers could help protect both lives and livelihoods in the North East would be to provide an emergency one-off payment for businesses affected by the extended lockdown."
