When it comes to campaigning, it is a well-established fact that the more voters we have conversations with the better we perform in elections. And this year's Scottish Parliament elections will be no exception.
Usually we would be speaking to voters on the doorstep. But that is something we cannot do in the midst of COVID.
Instead, we are phoning voters. Across North East Scotland, we have already spoken to hundreds of voters this year. We've been offering them a very welcome "how are you?" in these troubling times. People are genuinely grateful to our volunteers for taking the time to reach out to them.
But there are still thousands of people that we are yet to speak to. And we need your help.
Phone campaigning is fairly straightforward. But there is a little bit of learning involved - specifically around the software that we use and the phone script. As such, we're running a number of training sessions designed to get all our volunteers up to speed.
The next training session takes place on Thursday 18th February at 6.30pm. This is remote session over Zoom. The details of the Zoom call are below. Please do register in advance so we can optimise the training.
