Mike Rumbles, Scottish Liberal Democrat MSP for the North East has criticised the SNP’s continued failure to deliver for the North East in light of the First Ministers admission that delivery of Scotland’s Major Trauma Centre Network would be delayed until 2020.
Mr Rumbles said:
“The SNP once again snubs the North East with Empty promises, falling short on its pledge to deliver this vital service. NHS Grampian is consistently overlooked by the SNP Administration in Holyrood and they were rightly held to task when Aberdeen Royal Infirmary wasn’t being considered to be part of the network at all. Now they admit that the network will not be delivered in full until 2020 despite pledging to have it up and running by the end of 2016. Their record of delivery is appalling.
